    Hi jorge, on the inside on the floor will be a vinyl material which has a timber plank with grain appearance, it's also got a felt backing so it's a bit softer under foot.

    Outside on the deck will just be non skid beads spayed over wet 2k polyurethane paint same as everything else, however I'm going to put a little tint in it so it's not so glary... once that is cured blow off the excess beads and roll another coat down to seal it all...

    I thought of your benchtop when i was in bunnings the other day. They have sheets of marble look material about 10mm thick. Really nice looking patterns. Maybe acrylic but i am not sure. .

    Nice job on the painting, I feel for you on all that fairing, I believe it would have sent me to the loony bin.

    This is a beautiful boat, Im seriously anxious to see how well she performs, I bet she is very fuel efficient. I'd like to have one like this myself, what will the draft be?

    Can you give anymore details on those benchtop brendan? On their website the solid surface acrylics are very expensive, the local plastics guy quoted me over $1000 and the stuff is also pretty heavy...

    Jorge, her draught is 400 mm at her maximum 4 tonnes displacement. 350 mm would be more typical for a an averge loaded condition...

    Finally finished painting the interior... no pics as the stb side looks basically identical to the port side which ive already shown before. So now i feel alot more excited as ive moved onto the fitout stage... been fitting engine instruments, cutting heaps of holes and fitting hatches, and what not, soon will move onto the plumbing and the rest of the electrical gear... however i did put in the first set of LED courtesy lights in the cockpit - had to test them out so i snapped this pic :) Should look good once the floor is all finished...

    Lighting looks great. I missed your reply last month. I will have a look at the material in bunnings next weekend and get the details on it. And a couple of photos.

    its all good mate, ive already made the benchtop and table out of 6mm marine ply. Im going to mask it up, black paint it and then resin coat it like i did on my previous boat shown below. Its an inexpensive, lightweight solution that looks quite reasonable;

    Funny... I already looked back through the thread to find your benchtop.... I'm gunna borrow(steal) that idea & charge about $900m2 for it... for the weight saving;)
