That's why they invented the inverted exclamation mark ¡, it's for usage instead of the i when the above happens . .

For me the ¡ character is accessible by hitting the ‘‘Alt Gr’’ and ‘‘1’’ key simultaneously, so "no **** allowed" becomes "no sh¡t allowed"

Although you worked out the word I was trying to say rather than the word hoytedow thought I was trying to say.

In Australia the word I was trying to say is acceptable and the word Hoytedow thought I was trying to say is probably OK.

It reminds me of some American athletes who were interviewed on TV
