Although this article was published just a few weeks ago, the opinion of Dave Evans appears to come from an article he published in 2011 in the Financial Post called Climate models go cold. This article was rebutted in an article in Skeptical Science called David Evans' Understanding of the Climate Goes Cold.

So then we still have no grasp of why the CO2-focused climate models are so inaccurate?

    One of these days, maybe.

And no..his blog-published results are quite current, actually...still being rolled out. Apparently a full-blown paper will combine it all in the near future.

Is this going to be another man made co2 causes climate change thread?
That is a socialist political agenda and I really wish you'd keep your politics out of it.

Your topical posts are always welcomed. I trust you will extend that same courtesy to everyone else.

This forum is excellent for what it's purpose is, to share information and ideas about boat design.
I appreciate it and enjoy it and benefit from it.

On earlier threads, I exposed the who, the why, and the how, of anthropogenic global warming is a deliberate socialist plot to conquer the world by subversion, and exposed the blatant propaganda as double talk and spin and pseudo science.

I don't want to go round and round.

Topical posts and socialist propaganda pretending to be innocent topical posts ain't the same thing.

There are plenty of forums to argue politics on.

May I suggest where you can put your co2?

Climate is changing and always has and is certainly interesting.
I have long contended mankinds greatest personal asset is the willingness and ability to adapt.
History is replete with failed societies and civilizations who didn't adapt or quick enough.
But the individuals or at least some of them survived, because they adapted to the environmental changes, and the collapse of their civilization.
I doubt we are descendants of the non-survivors.
Ergo, we have the inherited ability to adapt.
That's not the same as having survival skills, which are learned, and best learned prior to needing them. :D
The most important survival skill, IMO, is self reliance and personal responsibility.

Those of us concerned about AGW don't want ours added to that list of failed civilizations.
One could argue that none of our ancestors were survivors. After all, they all died -- as will each of us. :( I think it's less important that we ourselves survive (because we won't, no matter how hard we try), and more important that we pass on to the next generation a healthy planet and a sustainable economy*.
The skills needed to survive a saber-tooth tiger attack are different from those needed to survive an earthquake, which are different from those needed to survive a cyber attack, which are different from those needed to survive AGW. However, one commonality to all these scenarios is that we are more likely to be successful if we pool our resources and work together than if we try and go it alone. Hence the need to discuss in public forums both the threat of Global Warming as well as possible solutions.
