    There's only one kind of glass you can do this with and damn it'll be expensive stuff at that thickness. Seems a silly thing for the aesthetic and contrivance of this project.

    random thoughts.

    1. It WILL look awesome lit up at night.

    2. Needs maybe 1 million BTU per hour of heat in the winter...

    3. ... which will cause a lot of evaporation which will condense minerals onto the outside of the pool. Said minerals are about as hard as the glass. Going to need some trick coatings to prevent etching and scratching.

    4. How many days per year can you comfortably lounge on a tenth floor sun deck in a wet swimsuit in London?

    5. How many Plecos to control the algae?

    6. It would sorta suck if you left the hose on and overfilled it.

    7. And no, you can't drain it in the winter. It will serve as both buildings' central sprinkler system reserve. But maybe ice skate on the top?

    8. And will they have ducks like the Peabody in Memphis?

    I'll bet it's not glass but Acrylic, possibly with a PVHO rating. Similar to the circa 1996 Monterey Bay Aquarium Outer Bay viewing window.

    Just an aside: in a super posh pool like this, so very visible to so many people, they can't use those chemicals that change color when someone pees. Can you imagine the furor from that kind of paparazzi picture?
