    Well I cogitated (Lol), about names and I came up with this.
    I think you should use a new name for your 8.5 and I agree Privateer would be a good one.
    For the 24 though, as it is a tweaked crowther B24, it should still be a B24 but perhaps a B24 Mk3. This would still be legit, as there are already a Mk1 and Mk2.
    You could even refer to it in copy as the Ezifold Buccaneer 24 Mk3.
    That would be perfectly legal and would provide the connection to the Crowther heritage.
    Perhaps you could think of a better way, there are lots of possibilities. :D

    Totally agree, OS7 and Cav both presented common sense solutions that fit, we very much appreciate everyone's input and have now integrated the names to the designs.
    Being "Buccaneer 24 MK III" trimaran by Ezifold
    and "Privateer 8.5" trimaran by Ezifold
    These updates are on FB and web pages.
    Roman is well advanced with the plans transfer to Cad of the home builder wing mast for the Buccaneer MK I the MKII and MK III in due course.
    We have a full build program ahead and have been interviewing for more builders.
    Craig and the team are looking forward to your 33 updates.

    Hi Barry
    We were only cutting HD foam, Mike knows his stuff run 8mm bull nose for most of it.
    When he cuts the moulds he will run it down to 5mm off then the down sizing begins to micro cutter with 96% over laps. A lot of machine hours however if you have ever made precision foils by hand you will appreciate the machine.
    Next up is the privateer 8.5 daggerboard then the fun starts with the curved foil moulds.
    Should have more updates as things get busy...

    yeah even with it being foam its fast compared to my machine! I always cut to foam but my steppers and software just don't go that fast! And i'm not production like you guys, so for me its a lot of work and waiting to get a one off part. as it is to make most of time spent I usually just cut to male part then 2 thin layers bagged glass, pour on metal filled resin then pull a few parts till its dead. Only reason I go that far is I do proto work for drone guys, before that it was hotwire and shape foil plugs for parting boards!

    Oh and wanna talk doing it budget! I've done a few curved foils for aircraft stuff by cutting foam cores and bending via part board, then when set it holds till other side is cast. No room for mistakes though if you accidentally pop it out!

    Quick question. I'm tracing out the hull sides and according to the plans there should be a straight line at the tops of frames 4 through 7. I'm not getting a straight shot there and I've triple checked my measurements. Any ideas?
