How about saving us from your egotistical, superior (way superior) and rightious preaching, Ad Hoc, and post some of your work here ... so we can actually see what you are capable of producing, instead of attempting to visualize some mathematics.
You have my word of honour that nothing negative will emanate from me ... (which I'm sure, would shake you to your superior foundations) if you do such a brave and courageous thing.

Oh dear oh dear. See that's where you simply have not got a clue.

This forum is NOT about me or anyone else, for that matter. It is about answering technical questions. I provide answers to such questions, and if requested references can be supplied. I like several others provide short cuts (in time and learning) to assist the OP in their request for assistance. Thus the OP can dig out the reference and read for themselves if the information I am providing is independently verified or just hocus-pocus, but in their own time.

Unfortunately it appears you not only fail to grasp this but also use this forum as platform to promote for your own ideology of what is or is not acceptable. And as you have demonstrated repeatedly, take over threads and criticise others that do not follow your world order....Boo Hoo. It is NOT about YOU....you simply fail on so many levels to understand this.

More nonsense. Put up or shut up. And just for me, post a pic of a skiff made with that 'simple' chine, will ya? Make sure it has at least one plate in .100", OK?

I do not use any forum to promote ideology (if I'm included in your silliness) and do even recognize how stupid you sound suggesting that?

You get confused don't you Ad Hoc? And flail about wildly missing the mark.
Most (nearly all?) of us here are amateur enthusiasts and few, if any, are promoting ideologies. In fact if anyone is pushing a snobbish, arrogant ideology, it is your own self.
However we all wait with withdrawn and bated breath (have been holding it for sometime) to see the brilliance of your own design expertise. Just so we can figure out how overshadowed we are, we poor amateurs, all.

So what about getting back to the ideology of length/beam ratio of hull forms instead of critisising and discussing what clothes to wear, or not to wear at all, during idealizing ideas of ideal ideologies.

I would say there's a way more efficient manner of communicating about the matter, Mr Efficiency.

In the "spirit of tolerance", would you say ? You would be preaching to the converted, in my case !

Tolerance is a work of art with only a certain amount of play.
With far to many people only thinking they don't need it.

Looks like it's time for the Moderator to step in, or at least I hope so.

Thanks very much to those who helped by posting good information, suggestions, references, and sharing their insight in response to the the original question and those who tried to keep this thread on track with positive responses. Given that the thread seems to have become rather unpleasant in tone and seems to have gone too far off track to generate new information related to the original question, it will be closed at this point. Peter, I hope some of the references and the good parts of the discussion were useful and if you seek more, you are welcome to start a new thread on this topic or a more focused version of the same question. Thanks.
