    1996 F16 searay

I just bought a 1996 searay F16 120hp. And the man I bought it from said it would not plan out and would only go about 30 mph. In the first posting September said it took a couple of minutes for her's to plan out. I was wondering if she found out anything regarding it and if now three years later if you can tell me anything about the boat, pros and cons.
    thank you

Joe, I hate to say that I never could get it to go much faster than 30 mph, To get it to plane out we had to have someone sit in the front. I would recommend investigating getting an extended ride plate. I'll attach pics. Or you can google extended ride plate seadoo. But it's not seadoo specific.

Jeez PAR, You aren't all that ugly. But you are sexist, LOL.

September, If you have a problem like this again, in addition to this forum, which is by far the best, most brands have an owner's forum on their web site. I know Sea Ray does because I am a member. I have a 1972 Sea Ray 190, and in addition to PAR and the other folks here, the Sea Ray Club forum has been invaluable helping with info and access to parts suppliers.
