    Neither Barry.
The B28 has a pivoting centreboard, the stock B24 has a canted backward daggerboard,
This is a vertical dagger board which has some extra advantages, including giving you a seat. :D

Tom.151 Best boat so far? Crowther Twiggy (32')

Thanks OS7 - you are a prince for your excellent support of the plans you sold.

Your the man, as usual! Curious to see the option! Was wondering last night what would internal curved,or angled, leeboards would do? Like some have in amas but in main instead coming out at center. Still gotta put them down according to heal but they would be closer to access. Granted you now have 2 boxes to complicate things, but they would be spread to sides where they might not even be noticed. Just thinking out loud.

Other Tri designs have been shown where the board case is situated to one side of the Vaka.
Provided that the board blade is parallel to the Vaka centreline it has proved to work just as well. :D

My first thought was fixed twin keels but again getting complex and draggy in a small simple boat. Just thinking out loud I suppose.

In my post #1844 I said :- "Of course there's more to it than that".
And as the Cowardly Lion said , in the Wizard of Oz---"You can say that again".
I finished my dwg of the vertical Cb & Case and was just going to scan it, when
I realised that the board I had drawn was too long to be pulled out of the case without getting it jammed up against the roof of the cabin.
Ah, Well,----back to the drawing board.

Cool pics of the buc mods! Are the beams being mounted lower in hull versus stock plan?

Same height as stock plans, however the beams on the test mule seen in the picture are a deeper section than those in the feeshen up plans as our floats are much larger than those done for freshen up as we have our own agenda for the end result.

    OTB,
Couple of questions, regarding the new plans in general,
Will the dihedral remain the same ?
Will the volume/utility of the cabin change ?

Stage one of bow panel mock up complete.

Our test mule floats will sit lower by the attrition of float depth the freshen up plans remain unchanged if desired or lowered by beam mounting at deck height.
Cabin shares original concept however has possibility of 2.2m long double.
Lots of options as original in that area it is each to own and all who purchase freshen up plans or test mule plans when complete will have original plans so can build the style that suits them best.

With the exception of freeboard area it doesn't look like a lot of additional volume has been added to lower hull. Seems longer is just swapped with finer, so I'd imagine it would still sit in water like before? Even floats just seem to get more fine in profile as they dip lower sooner.
