    Hi Manie,

If you want we can make a few wind veins that can do the wind steer thing.

Manie I have been studying the photo in post #991 at great length and have picked up on a minor technicality. Someone has tied you to the mast. Now I'm an open minded kind of guy and I don't judge people by their 'preferences'; and I now better understand that the rig has been specially crafted to be controlled whilst 'at the mast' however you have always led us to believe this was a single handed boat so I want to know 1. Who tied you to the mast, 2. Who took the photo. And before you start, dogs cannot tie knots!

    Have happy sunday.

I'd guess go pro or camera mounted and on timer, secured by harness?

    No foul

The camera didn't tie him to the mast Cookie. I have contacted FIFA.

Don't mess up Manie's action. He told the young wannabe starlet, he was a movie producer and invited her aboard his YACHT.
Everybody knows movie folk are kinky. She only balked at being tied up herself.
Don't blow it for him. He worked HARD for this! :)

;) RHP I'm very happy to say that everything is now shot on my new iPhone 5S on a tripod and my "old" 4S is now my permanent KAP (kite aerial photography) rig! The best app ever is OSnap! and allows you freedom of movement. With the timer delay it means the phone/camera can be on for hours even days and take a pic every couple of minutes or seconds what ever you want. I've built a "sled" kite (similar to the pic) and am fine tuning it and will show pics soon! My Hollywood career needs some serious work and I will have to spend more time doing better work, I know my camera skills are lousy

Fanie yes we will build the wind-vane thing because we can look at 3D printing for all the little pulleys, brackets etc. in ABS plastic. I will start to make CAD drawings soon, so that the drawings are finished when your machine arrives!!!!!

I'm 66 and still DOING, but only with my wife. But that's not a complaint. I robbed the cradle. She is 16 years younger than me and looks younger than THAT! :D

    Manie what a stunner!

Surely a viable business plan to churn those out at an affordable price?

LOL, don't blow it for him, and especially not when the camera is taking opictures :p

    Who says it's a "she" ?

Manie is kind-of a Houdini, if you consider the situations at home with the wife and kids he has to get out of to build the boat, he can get out of anything - even after tying himself to the mast with only one hand and that hand was behind his back...:p

I don't think about other folks private lives unless they bring up the topic. I'm too busy thinking about things that DO interest me.
So, in short, I don't care what they do, as long as they wash their hands.
