does anyone have photo's or a plan of a ply seat box incorporating a stove and sink. I want to remove my passenger seat pedestal and replace it with a box which folds out to a small bench with single burner cooker and plastic tub sink.

The height will be very low for a sink or stove is the problem.

Sounds like a cool:cool: idea, just sit your items on the bench & figure some measurements, maybe you can still have a seat & flip it back for some extra bench space, kind of like a bait prep area with sink & a alcove for the stove.

I have had a similar galley/seat before and it worked well in a small cruiser. I always like to see what others have done to get ideas. my seats are on pedestals and they are a waste of space. i will make a seat box for the helm seat as well which will store the safety gear. the other advantage of seat boxes is they are not trying rip themselves out of the floor like pedestals when you hit a wave.

my seats have folding backs so can they be bolted to the hinged box lid and flipped over when i want a coffee.

some neat chuck boxes there phil. a small one would be good in a camp cruiser. stored under the foredeck while sailing and set up on a thwart at dinner time.
