Is this software accepted by all major governing bodies such as Lloyds, Det Norske Verities, ABS, etc...?

Yes, absolutely, I myself work with many classification societies and our results still show a very good correlation with theirs.

    athvas,

Class rules will tell you what you need to include in the damage stability booklet. Then from this list of requirements, you can build your own damage stability booklet template. I advise you to spend some time doing it by yourself instead of looking for references, it will be more beneficial for you.

Try to think about what information somebody would need to understand the results of the computation. I am thinking about information regarding the model, the compartments, hydrostatic curves for example.

Regarding the software, you can have a look at GHS or Maxsurf though I have never tried this one but I heard it can generate a booklet in a matter of a few clicks while with GHS you would need to generate PDF and to insert them in a report (which can be troublesome if you use Word but without any problem if you use LaTeX :D).

The problem is not how to make the presentation or the number of chapters should contain. The real problem is how the calculations are made.
There are several software capable of performing stability calculations after damage by the probabilistic method. The interesting thing is not knowing that MaxSurf does them very fast, but, and I guess this is the question of athvas, find out how to carry them out.
Anticipating what perhaps you dare ask, I will say that I can not do the math.
