Years ago I was shooting up a roll of film in Galveston when I was intrigued by a cemetery with a few above ground crypts, kind of like New Orleans where the water table is so close to the surface that caskets seem to float out of the ground. Anyway, I found the old film strip and ran it through my scanner. I just noticed the local hamburger joint (a chain out of Corpus Christi) in the background. Looks kind of like a mausoleum. Enough of morbid thoughts for tonight.

    Meet U.S. Olympian Johnny Quinn.

    Four-man bobsledder, one-man wrecking crew.

The 6-foot-2, 220-pound ex-NFL player, trapped inside a locked bathroom Saturday, smashed his way to freedom through the door in his new Sochi digs.

“I was taking a shower and the door got locked/jammed. ... With no phone to call for help, I used my bobsled push training to break out,” he wrote on Twitter. #SochiJailBreak

More of a lean and less of a push to get thru that typical Masonite and cardboard interior door. Has anyone noticed the shoddy trim work. Looks like standard 2 1/2 to 3 in. tapered(beveled) trim. The verticals are installed with the thick edge on the door box, what I would consider the opposite of what it should be. The top horizontal piece is installed correct with the thin edge on the box but the top corner joins are 90's instead of 45's as should be for tapered trim.

    - that's to avoid having to do a miter presumably. Masonite too: I guess all the Russian Plywood gets exported!
