Question (from a design program illiterate): will any of those programs that develop plywood panels work backward? In other words, would I be able to change the dimensions describing one or more developed panels, and see how it changes the hull?

In TouchCAD you can, sort of, as there is a dynamic link between the 3D model and the flat panels.

I have no tutorial of Plyboats, but only the manual. I if you want it yet, I should make a pdf of it and then send you it. The practical approach is taking an existing boat an trying to modify her. If you have a design I can send you some. I have already built three boat and find it a very practical program and an amusing one in addition. Greetings. Ugo Mariani (from Italy)

    Buon Giorno Ugo,
Thanks for your reply. I''ll be very happy to get these information from you. In april I want to built my first boat and now I start preparation-searching the market for materials (very poor in my country, probably purchasing from abroad, Italy may be), and designing-so your help is very precious and appreciated.
    Mile grazie!
    Ciao,
    Nico

Dear Nico, I've sent today a reply that I don't see yet published. I don't know how to get in touch with you privately. Do you know anything more than me?

    Thanks

I express my gratitude to senior member Hoytedow for having filled the gap in my knowledge concerning private messages. At the same time I offer my help about Plyboats as far as laws are not offended.
