I do not know what this thread needs but it will teach how to think to some Naval Architects and how to evaluate ships regarding their operational purposes

and focused part of the problem is Research Vessel notation??

SWATH hull is another part of question ??

    if V(speed) >(displacement volume)^0.1667 m/s HSC SWATH
it means that some SWATHs are subjected to HSC code like some other ships but they are evaluated in HSC Code and related
classification rules as another sub category.
    V(speed <(displacement volume)^0.1667 m/s NON HSC SWATH
and SWATH notation for the hull
if the vessel is a combinations of Swath + Hydrofoils ( For 15 knots speed it will not be necessary) Vessel would be subjected to Dyn. Supp. Craft Code Partly

how shall we decide if this vessel features SWATH or Catamaran or Semi SWATH features??
there are some guidance on chinese classification society as well as other Class societies

Youn don´t need to decide anything. DDALMAU has stated that his wessel is a SWATH :
Only he can change, if he wants or if he is interested in, the type of ship he is going to design.

ok :D I meant , he should check that if his design would comply with the SWATH description in related class society rules. I mean that Mr SOR needed at this point.

    Ad Hoc Naval Architect

Aahh…so, that is a no then. You don’t have a copy of the Permit to Operate, or the page in the Specification as “supporting documents” that you appear to request others to provide, yet you cannot yourself.

Thus all you are doing is:
    1) cut and pasting rules endlessly, for some unknown reason and;
    2) just speculating/guessing at what the actual statutory rules the vessel complies with.

So, why can’t you simply say that…..that you don’t have the supporting documents of the actual 35m Swath vessel being discussed and are thus just assuming/speculating what it “might” be, rather than very poorly, attempting to claim that you know for a fact what it is (yet provide no supporting documents of said vessel)?

Hmmm..do you think anyone that qualifies will chime in…?? ;)

    Me too

He’s referring to the already known fact, yet is ignoring this for his own narrative. Naval Architects usually like to deal with facts and evidence such as that which has already been provided by the OP:-

The OP has provided the Class, LR from the outset. Thus, why does Murat124 continue to speculate even more when we know for a fact LR has been provided as the Class that was used?....it is just all hot air and a waste of band width.

It is very clear that someone is trying to sound and appear important and knowledgeable, yet in their zeal to do so, is just exposing themselves as the opposite very fast indeed. Their own words are enough to highlight as such…

    Oh dear!

The DSC code was superseded by the HSC Code in 1994. You're almost 20years too late...

    I rest my case...

1 . you must be happy to find it.
    2. I did not want to cut and paste rules . You have asked for them. What can I do? if you can not interpret the text of IMO I cut and past rules there to emphasize imprortant part of them.
    3. it is better for you, because you learned how to evaluate rules and regulations alittle bit
    4. you do not want to accept your losing streak :))

You can understand but you do not want to accept.

Do not worry. I can sort out yourself for another subjects. I recommend you not to touch to me. Because you will be disgraced each attempt of yours. :))
Visit a physicologist. Take some therapy (Because situation is turning in to a neurotic incident) . Try to find some another hobbies. For example you can make Ikebana ( your location seems as Japan ) :D
I can send one photograph of mine you can play DART in the office. or Call your mother. Show your tear drops.

Because if you would be sure from your own arguments. you would not so insist about this question.

I might. But leaving this thread to its current direction is too amusing to want to mess with it.

    ;)
