Thank you; you won me a six pack of Blue Moon. I bet my relief at work (against a six pack of the Belgian-style saison I'm getting ready to bottle) that you'd come back with something about finishing my boat.... he couldn't believe someone would actually be that predictable. :)

Cheap shot. For someone whose native tongue isn't English, Daniel has a good grasp of it - especially compared to a lot of the semi-illiterates online who were born here. For example,"Ad hominems is usually a poor use of logic" isn't really proper English at all....

He's also correct, by the way: you habitually make inflammatory political comments, then decry the intrusion of politics into the forum when you get called on them.

This time I will stay out of the political argument. El Guero and Daniel both know how the Ukraine suffered under both forms of Socialism and should have some common ground from which to view the encroachment of tyranny upon our lives. I wish I could speak just one foreign language as well as the 2 of you speak English.

    LOL You're such a banana!

You use bad grammar to state that ad hominems are poor logic and then in the next sentence use an ad hominem and defective logic to disparage somene's bad grammar.

Yes, "Ad hominems is usually a poor use of logic" was proper, I thought of using "Ad hominems are usually a poor use of logic," but, I was grammatically applying to his singular use.

    Hoyt,

You may have to update me, the peanut gallery has been on ignore for some time. And Troy may go back on it ....

You would think they have nothing better to do with their time than troll ....

I wish we had all that spare time .... our boats finished ....

You and I would be on the water ignoring them, instead of at home being pestered ....

    :D

Daniel is a friend. So are you. I will not drag him down. He will figure it out and there is rejoicing in Heaven when one has seen the light. Stay polite and you may make a new friend with Daniel. The best way to get rid of your enemies is to turn them into friends. Sorry if my Quaker is showing.

I notice you didn't mention me in there, Hoyt. :p

That's OK, I like you anyway. In spite of the fact that we disagree about 90% of the time....

Thanks Daniel, but we have to thank the author Timo Palo for it, here's another pic from him . . . . (link is in Estonian)

    Just a little cross-country skiing on an average holiday I guess . . . ;)
