Atlantis: The Land Beyond The Pillars

    http://www.atlantismaps.com/chapter_7.html

There are lots of websites and books claiming to have found (possibly) Atlantis.
Most of them, like a recent claim Atlantis found only 60 miles inland in Spain, don't match up to the ancient greek accounts.

The hypothesis HERE on this url is very, very plausible.

So, if you need a destination for your newly completed world cruiser or waterworld teotwaki boat, why not Atlantis?
Think of the startled expressions of friends, family, and associates, if you announce you are voyaging to Atlantis!
is there a MORE exotic spot in the world? :D

    Coincidences are ALWAYS suspicious.
    This is a mayan calendar.
It ALSO matches the description of the Atlantean city. 3 rings ect.
If Atlanteans WERE Mayans and Atlantis in S. America, which would be more probable?
Design the city based on the calendar? Or the calendar designed as copy of the city?

Ever considered that maybe the global climate isn't warming but merely changing dynamics and just shifting normal climatic effects into other than the normal regions - hence 'OMG the climates warming' because its changed hysterical response.

Oh yeah, and the acidification of the oceans from increasing Co2, threatening marine ecosystems, is just a co-incidence ?

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ocean_acidification

Sure, and Atlantis will rise from the ocean again.

Somebody already found it. Apparently it split in 2 and drifted far apart. http://www.atlantis.com/

It is going to be a cooooold-d-d-d winter. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...caps-grows-60-global-warming-predictions.html

"Almost a million more square miles of ocean covered with ice than in 2012
BBC reported in 2007 global warming would leave Arctic ice-free in summer by 2013"

Lots of "science" is being revised.
We are doubling the sum of all human knowledge every 18 months (I read somewhere).
Now I don't know if that's an accurate statement, but ever increasing scientific knowledge is a symptom of our times.
I always thought there must of been some common heritage between pyramid builders around the world, because of the bowtie staples they used on tops of adjacent blocks.
I suspected Atlantis might be Antartica. Now, I think it was in S. America. I'd certainly like to read the results of a seismograph survey of that unique circular delta formation! :)
And if you want to stick AGW in here, go ahead! This is about debunking myths! :D And voyaging there.
Maybe a Trireme voyage from Gibralter to Brazil to test the possibility. A 21st century Kon Tiki voyage! :)
A large crew will be needed, to man the three tiers of oars! Volunteers?

Why not answer a question with a question instead of addressing the previously asked question?

Here we go, The Lost Teachings Of Atlantis...
    http://www.atlantis.to/LTA/home.htm
It goes far with proof of the well accepted theory that the Essenes, the writers of the Dead Sea Scrolls, were direct descendants of Atlantis. Atlantis, which scientists no longer argue about the existence of, just the location. The site has other attractions, among them a link to a map and directions to Shangri La, which is of course the lost monastery of Atlantis.
