The problem arises when politicians declare themselves to be experts on a subject when in reality they can barely tie their own shoes.

This thread would be bereft without an Arctic Sea-Ice chart. It’s nice to review it periodically, as it is updated daily. Doesn’t look like any minimum arctic sea-ice records will be set this year, though this year’s extent will be less than the average of the last decade.

Yeah, it is really great to provide a place for fanatics to post their propaganda, which turns out to be a colossal waste of time and electronic space when the whole thread gets flushed from the subscription list. :p

Hoyt, we all love you dearly and the forum would be lessened without your presence. But your definition of propaganda seems to be, 'anything that might shake my preconceived notions and world view, especially scientific studies and data.'

Sorry but when you massage the data with untruths you lose respect as a source no matter how you proclaim to be a scientific source.

Again: your definition of 'untruth' seems to include anything that contradicts what you want to believe.... you'll have to do better than simply branding the overwhelming majority of scientists liars.

An untruth would be for example moving a thermometer(more like a bunch of them} to a paved pad knowing it will give an artificially higher reading than the general vicinity in order to tailor data to match the conclusion you seek.

And you have examples of this happening, and evidence that the scientific community made a habit of it? How many thermometers were moved?

Of course Christians (& other Religions) cannot think.

That is why Einstein did not say, "Science without Religion is lame."

That is why Newton never went to church.

And certainly George Washington never said, “Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable.”

    :p

Next they will say Darwin never studied Religion ....

Re-write history, Science, and Religion and you get the new post-post-modernity and progressive thought.

Quoting Washington on the relationship between religion and politics does nothing to invalidate science. It's no more relevant than Thomas Jefferson's cut-and-paste Bible, from which he removed all references to the supernatural and miraculous in the life of Jesus.

Nor does associating climate change with 'progressive thought' invalidate the science involved....

We all descend from a pair of common ancestors MUCH more recent than Neanderthals, if we are even related to Neanderthals at all.

Science is good, but scientists who attempt to discount creation and don't know the Bible make fools of themselves.

In the Bible, Adam is NOT our most recent paternal ancestor, but Noah is. And he wasn't contemporaneous with Eve obviously.

As to Climate Change, let me pose a question to Troy, whose thread it is.

Is it your intention that ONLY posts and articles supporting and believing in MANMADE climate change be posted here?

I definitely get the snub from ALL warmers literature and blogs that anybody NOT willing to parrot the "philosophy" should be ignored and their opinion and data discounted as worthless.

    Is that YOUR perspective?

Because if it is, it's VERY UNSCIENTIFIC as it is the case with others having closed minds.
