Anyone any idea how are those float mounted rudders are operated ?

I see only long thin rods for pushing and pulling linked somewhere under the netting, what I'm overlooking or misinterpreting or is that how it works . .

Ian's last post was 04-11-2010 (at this moment), so not sure I want to bother him, but I've send the PM and said it's just curiosity and nothing urgent or of a comercial interest from my side. So let's see if he replies here, but I can imagine this doesn't score high on his priority list which is OK . . :idea:

I'm not really a big fan of float mounted rudders, as they are too complex for what may only be small gains in some conditions. One single deep rudder does very well most of the time, and is much simpler.

Thus while they are an option, and I allow for them, it is up to the builder to develop the steering system, as I have too many other things to do at present. The steering system on Jailbreak was actually developed by Randy Smyth.

Let's see if it ever pops up here how Randy solved it on Jailbreak and if his system is satisfactorily in practice.
