    curious graph. the 2012 line goes lowest in summer, but is higher in winter. looks like 2013 will be back up again both summer and winter (but too early to tell). 2011 was highest in summer, but lowest in winter.

    so what exactly does this tell us?

    No one disputes climate change. The disputation is over the cause of it. Earth is now cooling in the cyclical fashion that has been shown to exist.

    curious how the warmer places is also the least populated parts of the earth. According to the color density, the Antarctic south of the cape, and the Canadian Arctic is the warmest, even more than the equator!

    I never cease to be amazed how folks who typically show above-average intelligence can't read the provided legend. What's being displayed is the Temperature Difference, not the absolute temperature. But you did notice correctly that the polar regions are heating up faster than the temperate and tropical regions. That's why the rapid melting of the Arctic Ocean sea ice is a big deal. It's the canary in the coal mine, a warning of what's headed our way.
