I have always believe that the Global Warming chorus was too simplistic. Things just don't happen so simply and then go asymptotic.

If there is really another viable view point I want it to come out. Not to stir the nest, just to get a rational approach and not waste time, effort and Gov money (mine).

I personally still don't know which group to trust, how can all those ground temperatures be faked, icebergs are melting. But this is the second report that admits things are not as bad as had been shrilly stated.

I think I mentioned the concern myself.
Interesting that some articles talk about the extensive ice caves formed underneath the glaciers. Seems like the ground under them has heated - somehow. Again, no direct knowledge on my part.

This is hardly the second report. Peter Ferrara is a regular right-wing political writer for Forbes magazine, and Forbes is a consistent supporter of AGW denialism. Ferrara works for the Heartland institute.

Here are some of the articles written by Peter Ferrara and published by Forbes regarding Global Warming. We've discussed many of Farrara's points in the past, so I won't dwell on them further.

The tides cause movement of crustal plates which causes friction which causes heat which causes melting of rock which causes volcanic activity which will cause Yellowstone to blow up in our faces soon which will kill most of us which makes AGW a silly topic.

Everything changes all through the Universe, not one particle stays static anywhere. Why expect our Earth to stay static.Just not possible. That is just what makes everything so interesting.

Gotta love the way Peter Ferrara makes the statement that "The Little Ice Age... has been attributed to natural cycles in solar activity, particularly sunspots." Then he builds on that statement as though it's based on proven and accepted science - without even bothering to tell us who does the attributing, or on what basis they do it.

Pretty typical stuff from Forbes; I'd take anything they say about climate with a grain of salt. They have a pro-buisiness bias, and apparently believe global warming might be bad for business.:)

Would you say you have an anti-business bias, Troy? I would say you do.
