Lock downs are indeed normal in the US...schools, movie theaters, shopping malls...whole cities.

    As I said..imagine the future.

We seem to be wandering away from the topic of Climate Change. Maybe we'd like to have a go at Religion and Climate Change

GRIST.ORG | Most Protestant pastors don’t think climate change is real
Or how about Politics and Global Warming:

I don't "disappear" from the conversation. I "go to sea". I don't have internet "at sea'. :)

All these suggestions are based on somebodybelieving in the manmade co2 climate change scenario. Not happening pal. :)

NOW IF YOU WANT TO DISCUSS HOW TO SURVIVE CALAMITY, ANY CALAMITY, WHETHER FINANCIAL COLLAPSE, SOCIAL UPHEAVAL, HAZARDOUSWEATHER, ECT, THEN THAT MIGHT BE WORTHWHILE. BUT AS LONG AS YOU PREACH ANTHROPOLOGICAL CAUSES OF WEATHER OR CLIMATE CHANGE, YOUR POSITION WILL BE RIDICULED AS IT JUSTLY DESERVES. :)

How silly of me to think that a thread about Rapid Climate Change might also include a discussion about how to mitigate same.

By all means, let's use this thread to discuss Financial Collapse, Social Upheaval, and generic Hazardous Weather.

While we're at it we might also want to discuss leaky toilets, ingrown toenails and bad breath.

Today, at 10am (Eastern Time), the New York Times' Thomas Friedman will be interviewed about his views on a Carbon Tax. You can listen to the interview realtime by clicking on the LISTEN button at the URL below. Sometime in the afternoon they will also have the interview available to be listened to or downloaded anytime, at your convenience.

this is SUPPOSE to be a boat design forum, not a socialist propaganda BBS. or BS.
As long as I've subscribed to ANY of the AGW threads, I've yet to see ANY posts regarding how to set up a boat for dealing with climate change or anything about boat design.
It's ALWAYS an argument WHY we should believe the AGW propaganda.
Haven't you wondered WHY the for and against lines are divided along political lines? Because AGW is nothing BUT politics, it's NOT science. And it CERTAINLY isn't about boats!

I couldn't tunein in this part of the world..

The carbon tax is completely logical. The polluter pays. A very logical way to go about environmental awareness

Hopefully the concept will gain traction .
