1. The Marketplace Forums can be useful for members who know one another well from forum discussions and offline communications and wish to post boatbuilding tools, drafting tools, molds and tooling, and other professional equipment for sale or trade. However, caution and good judgement should always be used. Especially when considering any business with anyone not already well known to you and trusted, due diligence must be used to confirm details and identity and be sure the transaction is safe before any money or property changes hands. Always use good judgement and perform due dilligence and follow these guidelines.

Hi Tilden, may I suggest that you seriously read and listen, this is not frivolous, it is serious life influencing reality... The consequences of ignorance are not pretty in the longer term...

Are there people so - so delicate and insecure that you must protect them? Are you sure that they cannot resist a simple pitch. - - - (The presenters time and research must be paid for somehow - They are NOT twisting arms or threatening otherwise  ), and with out an open mind and the ability to discern a sales pitch from valid information, - - boy do you need to be able to deliver some basic counselling help or serious time in a library learning stuff...

If you do not like what is said, put me on your "ignore list and leave others to read as is their right and constitutional privilege...

    Hi Tilden,

Missed answering your question fully - Went to complete mowing the lawn, as the sun was shining & then went to town for some supplies... Better late than never :?:

All the gold bling around my neck, (6kg), - wow heavy man . . . . then the small change (another 2.1kg) in my pockets, - I would need to have a physique that would make Mr T look like a scrawny wimp - - - Not gonna happen...

Holding in the vicinity of US$1379 and Au$1332 roughly at the present... Time to buy more (always on the dips, piece by piece, when there is cash to spare in ones pocket)... Accumulate is the best policy on Bullion and play the casino in ETF if you have the temperament...

What you said above mas, buy on the dips, applies to everything mate, not just gold... The ability to predict the dips and peaks, is what defines your success in anything... its no good just saying in hindsight... anybody can do that...

My position is to hold anything tangible in the current climate. Gold whilst in a pure definition is tangible, its value is far too volatile at present and not something i consider tangible like bricks and mortar or yes, even a useful boat. The only thing that seems certain is, across the board inflation, holding gold will keep pace with it, not exceed it as there is no significant demand for it outside of financial tooling...

Im not convinced of inflation. The future is deflation.

The inflationary period...the baby boom bash that saddled economies with massive debt is over. This massive debt represents the accumulated inflation. Its over

The baby boomers cant spend, consume and the following generation wont fill their shoes. Less demand. falling prices...deflation

I agree with you in the short term michael... weve seen deflation happening here over the last couple of years, albeit quite slight but still happening... but i think the longer term will revert back to the typical inflation weve seen ever since trade began thousands of years ago....

Where is my coffee Mas? Chop, chop, get them in for your guests :D PLEASE!

The whole thing with understanding a deflation is that while you can have a reduction in the overall volume of "money and credit" you have to consider the different types of "money and credit" within the system and the way that they are changing and the markets that are impacted. Mortgage finance is not margin lending is not hard cash. It is not a simple cut and dried inflation or deflation and certainly not when you have the BOJ and the Fed smoking the presses in the fight against a dreaded deflation. Treat this simply and it will bite you in the ***.

Have we not seen the effects of inflation in some areas and deflation in others... think about it people!

From memory Bridgewater Partners (?) put out a piece call "A Beautiful Deleveraging" that is actually a good piece on understanding what the central bankers of the world are trying to achieve. Written by a sane and successful fund manager, no fringe stuff there.

Seems some in Canada are not impressed :?: http://www.globalresearch.ca/boston...w-enforcement-spotters-national-guard/5331729 and with that intensity of coverage there is NO EXCUSE - an Australian Army style "emu bob" would have been sensible and with eyes on the ground and likely of better effect - security planners need to smarten up and use their brains, apply some common sense for other than PR or ogling the eye-candy... A difficult lesson, but one that needs to be learnt none the less.
