Mike and Carol Caswell did their world tour of a lifetime to China with the aid of The Marco Polo Company and this river raft trip was one of the highlights.
You just have to love the Briggs & Stratton copies of engines, the longtail props and the sewer pipes instead of the original bamboo rafts.

Thank you to Brian Eiland for his reply and welcome. Yes I am having a little trouble learning the rules and also how to navigate this site. I have many photos that I want to post on my profile. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated. As well, my original post here has apparently received 47 replies!? How do I access them? I am really just a guy that's trying to help some very talented boat builders reach an international market. As well as traditional Thai longtail boats, these gentlemen can also build any other style or design of wooden boat from exotic hardwoods. They are currently working on a 6 meter long teak speedboat with a 300 h.p. inboard engine. Pics to follow when I learn how. I am also willing to share photos with anyone that is interested. I will try to send some to you by email Brian.

 

You will learn in a short time, it is fairly easy to use. Just look thru the site via 'search' function and you may find other topics that interest you

First off I believe you have to make at least 6 postings before you are allowed to post images. That's just to make sure you are a real person....not a computer or a ghost, or a spammer.
That pertains to both postings on an individual subject thread,...and to a gallery you will be able to establish.

That 47 figure refers to the total number of postings on this subject thread. So you get to read thru all those postings if you want, and comment on any of them that you wish. If you find one in particular you can hit the 'QUOTE' button at the bottom right hand side and it will quote that posting you are replying to.

If at some time you only want to reply to a brief 'quote' just enclose that passage in between [QUOTE......[/QUOTE .
