    Very good. That book is simply full of logic....one of the best written boatbuilding books Ive ever come across. A Christams present to boatbuilders worldwide ..Thanks Gougeon Brothers !

    I havent looked at the original in 12 years or so, but a 'puter based version will be used as pdf has the ability to search.

    Thanks for the link.

    I have the first edition, but it is falling apart. The section on compounded plywood looks to be very much the same, I'm going to check close.

    Perhaps we should provide this link to every newbie who starts with "I wanna build a boat but I don't know much...."

    It would save lots of verbal description.

    Ive got a copy. Sell it to you for 10 quid.

    Problem is that the last 50 or so pages are laminated together with west epoxy. Excellent bond.

    Perhaps you could search for another 10 quid copy that has its back pages intact, cut them out, then scarph the two good sections together with west epoxy !!!

    That would be 10 quid times two, plus a bit of resin...good value

    Thats a yess the really, although £36 is better then £40! Fair enough.

    £10 for for most of it isnt a bad price, but im some what planning to atleast flick through all of it!
