    Hello all...
I am looking for a source for the structural components necessary to install a swim platform on my new to me '91 Prout Event... Since I live in Palau, Micronesia, there just isn't anywhere locally where I would be able to find anything remotely related...
I think that the anodized aluminum components that are used to secure the trampolines and bowsprits and headstay extensions, etc., on some catamaran models, would do the trick...

Looking through the web has not given me the answers or leads to vendors, web pages that would cover the subject.

Any assistance anyone may be able to provide, will be appreciated...

    Dave

Anodized aluminum marine fittings are hard to find.

Thanks for that... I have sort of gathered that... However, somebody out there knows where a good starting point to look would be... Need a source for the hardware and the crossbeam... Multihulls with trampolines are being made everyday... Somebody is making those components... Help?

What's wrong with bog standard marine grade aluminium, such as 6082, in extrusion form, or 5083 as plates?

Even with the Internet anodized marine fittings are rare. Most of the anodized Aluminium that I see is on Italian Yachts. You might rephrase your google search and look in Italy .

It might be easier to adapt the plans to what's available locally.

    You can do that.

I like anodized fittings. Recently I needed to replace the stem head fittings...aluminum anodized...on a small boat. Impossible to find replacements so I went stainless and the owner will just have to live with rust bleeds for the next twenty years.

With Google I see that Aluminium is popular in Australia.
