If I was in it for a profit margin, I would have become a hooker . . .

I can't imagine you standing on a corner in stilettos and fishnets so you better stick to boats. Merry christmas.

Thank you for that visual. I'll spend the rest of 2012 pouring bleach into my imagination, trying to get rid of it.....

As the last visual image you have, just before you lay down to sleep tonight, would be that I don't need fishnets. You see, the hair on my legs, makes them look kind of like a random pattern fishnets, without the seam. Maybe an art Nouveau look if you will and a steady hand with a Sharpee will handle the seam easily enough.

Just catching up with this thread again.

On the boat-naming issue be very careful. As I understand the situation here, the title “My Beautiful Wife” is already taken so any attempt by the boat to usurp the position could turn out badly over the long run . . .

:):):) If the war with my wife over boatbuilding goes badly, I may wind up married to the boat instead....

    Troy,

Why not change tack. Tell her that I will sign a MOA with you that I agree to buy the boat from you dead or alive with your option as to delivery date. For such a lovely design executed in such able hands it would be worth it.

I am truly envious that you are going through the ringer getting started. It will make you appreciate it all the more when you're done. A beautiful boat well worth the challenge.

Very nice offer, dino. But I'm done negotiating or arguing with the wife on the subject. From now on I'm walking straight through her, and just building the damn thing. She can deal with that as she wishes....:)

Hopefully I can get started this weekend on enclosing the carport/patio that I'm turning into a boat shop.

Haven't found time to start enclosing the workshop, much less start the boat. I've been working an insane number of overtime shifts, and haven't been home enough to do much of anything. The wife would probably forget who I am, if the pay checks every two weeks didn't remind her...

I did start a new thread for the build though, where I've shown pic's of the stove for the workshop and of the composting toilet for the boat. Does that count as getting something done? :p
