    Anyone know anything about the PAINLESS clutch used in a Mokai?

    The Mokai Users Logical Evaluation Team has a lot of experience with all but the Latest version!

    Anything but PAINless!

    I bought a early offering and never could get it to work in this Mokai application!:(
    Poor design and cheap parts totally hacked together!!!

    Many others have had the same problems with this builder!

    Can you post a link to the thread on the mokaioutdoors? I don't want to spend all night searching for it ;) Or if the pictures are a trade secret, can you describe how your clutch broke??? Or what happened???

    Thanks for the link. I hate to burst your bubble though, but that's the best support you'll get from any company for a DIY installation. Getting more than repair / refund for a part takes hiring a pro rigger IMO.

    Refund NOT!

    Best he would do is $50 for the clutch that could never work in this application!!!:(

    The guy in the mokai thread not only got his worked on under warranty after he made a change, he also was offered a full refund. That's damn good support for a DIY install.

    Warranty?

    Others are not having the same luck!
    Another tried to sell one and was attacked by the mfg.
    Maybee it is just us here in Alaska which are having trouble???

    Any names of these others who had bad luck?

    I smell unreasonable customer, no offense. I read the mokaioutdoors link again and the interchange is a manufacturer offering to work on it and then offering a refund for a modification done by a customer! That's the best you'll get with parts costing thousands of dollars and sometimes you don't get that. I've had to choose mod or warranty. I'd like to deal only with manufacturers who treated customers this well.

    Sad But True!

    It is true that there are multiple customers in Alaska that have had issues with the products and services!
    Wish to Share so others will not have to Suffer! :confused:

    I have been the only one willing to stand up to what became an Internet “Bully”! :p

    A in depth analysis of the multiple offerings shows many engineering issues.
    Welding a tempered part, love joy coupling as a universal joint, free floating coupler and balance issues are all examples!

    Reading all of the builders over 600 posts show a pattern of self inflected failures taken out on the Mokai Manufacturer and others on the forum!

    :!: All to sell a product, which Voids the Mokai Warranty!!!

    The marketing strategy led to MokaiOutdoors removing “Parts and Accessories” from the Forum and further posting banned! :eek:

    The Believers have moved to ImprovingYOURmokai where all posts are controlled! :rolleyes:

    My Choice is to not do further business with PAINless Tom.
