More F40's: Wiliam Lawson's/Full Pelt and Biscuits Cantreau, no. 4 I think, because of the almost squared off main hull stern.

Thanks Paul. Shame the class faded away, but there you are. Maybe too extreme, too wide (for trailering) but beautiful and powerful boats.

I don't know if these qualify, they are from what most people would call the "glory days" of Multihull racing in BC.

A few years back Bad Kitty under main and outboard caught up to us (very easily) before Dodd Narrows to invite us to the multihull gathering. I think they must have been taking bets on our approach under sail only and confirmed we weren't local. The funny thing was I forgot the BC tide books always use standard time so we shot the Narrows under sail with the tide still in flood.....very exciting, I stood forward and called the course to miss the worst overfalls and rips. I've never forgotten the BC current times since. Bad Kitty didn't follow us in.

This maybe a little premature for historical multihulls - but here is maxi Hydroptere, (well, famed original Hydroptere is already historical) designed by VPLP, 30x30 metres with long floats and inverted T rudders. Check the new main foils and large chord wing mast, high aspect ratio soft mainsail.

I really hope the Hydroptere team get the funding and sponsor to help build this, it will be something special.
