Concept design 25m river vessel

    Vignesh, unless you are just preforming a classroom exercise, in regard to this vessel, then you simply aren't remotely qualified to consider self designing, a craft of this size or configuration.

    Sir,i am doing my graduation in naval architecture&offshore engineering.

    i m gona do a design of a 50 m vessel .i need scantling rules for such vessel.

    i mean a 50 m river cruise carrying 300 passenger. its not a classroom assignment ,yet i m doing out of my own interest .i have not introduced yet to these concepts ..i m just doing my 3rd year graduation.

    Well,i make the aim of the project clear-:

    small cruise of 50 meter lbp.250-300 pass capacity.for brahmaputra river.

    twin screw propulsion.

    stern wedge concept ,here not for trim optimisation ,the idea is to use the increase in pressure created by the water flow in that region to assist the ships motion,there by reducing my thrust deduction.[doubt wether it will work in a river].

    ps-:this is not a commercial product.not a school assignment.

    its just my personal project as i have no data about designing the above type vessel ,i came here for a guidance.

    What scantling rules have you worked with previously?

    Sir,i hav worked scantling rules of lloyds register for a bulk carieer ..but i have never done for a small crafts ..i couldnot get the scantling rules for smallcraft .
