Please Help Me I Need More Speed On My 12.5m Pontoon/Tri-pontoon Boat

    Hello there

    I have a pontoon Boat of the following character but i need more speed,
    pls what can i do to achieved more speed

    Boat specs

    1, LOV 12.5m
    2, Beam 4.8m
    3, Current Engine power 2x225hp =450hp
    4, current speed 10knot
    5, Speed needed 20 knot at loaded
    6, Dwt 4,500kg
    7, No of passenger 100px
    8, speed when loaded 8.5knot
    9, Engine condiction very fine (Brand new)
    10, Hull types pontoon (three toon)

    pls what can i do to increase the speed of the boat, i dont want to increase engine power (lack of financial power)
    let me knot other things to increase the speed

    You get only 8.5 kts with 450 HP and 12-13 tonnes total weight? There is something wrong with either those numbers or your boat...
    Can you give some pics of your boat, pontoon hull in particular?

    And how did you manage to put 100 pax on a 12x4.5 meters boat? :confused:

    Without a lines drawing or good pix, I doubt any help will be forthcoming.

    With a full load, what is the immersion (depth) of the pontoons, relative to their diameter? What is the diameter of the pontoons? Length of the pontoons?
