total resistance and power estimation for catamaran

    hello,im student of NA from Malaysia..i need help from the all old timer in this design boat forum to help to solve this problem..i want to calculate the total resistance and power estimation for my 26m catamaran..

    i hope i can get the reponds as soon as posibble.. thank u...

    You will have to be more specific. You didn't give enough information to make a good estimate.

    Give weight, draft, LWL, hull beam and profile, overall beam etc.

    The free program "Michlet" can give reasonable estimates for catamarans if
    you have the principal dimensions and offsets of the demihulls.

    thanks for the responds from both of you...i have a hydrostatic data from maxsurf, and i've already running from hullspeed using savitsky.but i still want to know the manual calculation for total resistant and power estimation for this catamaran.
