    well well

almost that time of the year a new year tomorrow. wish all members and family a fantastic new year. have been on leave since the 23 dec and not much boat building but have relaxed nicely so far. went fishing for 3 days and yesterday launched a friends yacht at the vaal river:D .it took us from 07h00 to 20h00 to launch boat and step the mast and get back home.was a really amazing day as i learnt many valuable lessons that i will use on my boat the major one is to be well organised .am hoping to get some good build work done in next week and cant wait

    cheers

    Hi alll
Schooner boat coming on niecly just been a lot of rain and family commitment but will get there. Have commited my self to completing boat by 15 Dec 2012 and that means I will need to work 2 hours a night and 10 on weekend that will give me 80 hours a month . My main issues are the mast and the keel but recon I have them under control . Am currently fiberglasing the cokpit and making an Ice box plus lots of little jobs. Will post some pics later today.
    Cheers

cool. I'm making a model because I can't make a real one. It will have a fixed bulb keel about the equivalent of 350kgs.

yet another week has gone by with very little progress due to shitty weather ,family Commitments .standby at work all of which are really testing my patience but through all the hicups this week I managed to sort out a tent for over cockpit area That was a major problem every time it rained I had a whole lot of water on the covers that took time to get of before I could start any work :(:(
