Manual gelcoat dispenser.

I am trying to find a source for gelcoat dispenser like the one I have for catalyst on the photo.
It would need to be one or two liters in size. I would appreciate if someone could tell me where I can buy one.

Not a good picture !! Cant see anything that resembles a dispencer Just a something???? have thrown away better looking rubbish but wasnt a dispencer amongst it !

I am using them as well, for dispensing epoxy resin, hardener, polyester resin and peroxide. They work extremely well. (unless someone dispenses mixed epoxy resin/hardener, don't ask...). But even then they are easy to take apart and clean out.

No. But the 500 ml would suffuce. It is relatively easy to do 2 or 4 strokes. We very regularly fill 1 liter bottles with resins, and that goes really fast. (a 1 liter bottle of epoxy resin takes 20 seconds or so)

I guess when the diameter of the piston is increased more (to reack 1 or 2 liters), the power needed to move the cilinder will get too large to pump viscous fluids (gelcoat, epoxy).

When visiting composite shows (JEC, Essen or Frankfurt) I do not recall larger dispensers.

What is available as well is a double pump, which dispenses resin (or gelcoat) and peroxide in 1 go. Mixing ratio from 1-5% (adjustable). This takes the error rate down, and speeds up dispensing.

 

Salesman from Euroresins came by last week and I found the dispenser that I was looking for in his catalog.
