Viksund Silver craft 600 sb

I am going to buy this boat.

I need comment on this model, from the owners
I found this under www.viksundasia.com -> our Broacher

According to the manufacturer this is the last boat of the batch.

"Our broacher" causes me to recall harrowing moments at sea.

 

What is that?

I like to know

 

is it putting me in danger if i buy Viksund Silver craft 600 sb?

 

I know nothing of the boat, just that it appears it should have been worded "brochure" on the website, rather than "broacher" which is a term that might be applied to a boat that doesn't maintain course in following seas.

The term "broacher" is a little obscure, but technically correct, though not especially common in the USA and I suspect Australia as well. It means to announce or to present. This is as I said, a little bit of a stretch in the form of a pamphlet or PDF download, as it's more then an announcement, but a description, possably a precise set of specifications. I didn't bother with the "broacher" download, mostly because I can see what the boat is.

She appears to be a stylish, protected and semi-protected waters craft. I wouldn't take this boat very far away from shore as it has way too many things to cause concern in deep water, but as a typical pleasure craft, blasting around lakes, rivers and bays, she'd be a fine boat with lots of visibility and accommodation for fishing, skying, etc.

Alik, the forward ports are huge and visibility should be fairly good, considering.

 

Hmm, look at photos how the guy is driving... He is bending his neck to look forward. He might be able to stand for better visibility but in this case there is no seat or body support.

 

There's plenty to look through, but I'm not fond of this arrangement either Alik.
