De Groot (NSMB) series method

    Is there anybody know anything about that method. I can't find anything about de groots article on internet or library. The article is in "international shipbuilding motor-boats" Vol. 2, No. 6, 1955. I need for my homework.

    Take Principles of Naval Architecture, the method is described there. Actually there is only one graph for residual resistance; method is easy to use and it works good at preliminary design stages.

    I also posted spreadsheet for this method, in spreadsheet library of this forum.

    "Principles of Naval Architecture" consists of three parts, with Vol. II containing chapter V about resistance, written by J. D. van Manen and P. van Oossanen. The De Groot Series is dealt with on page 94.

    See attached picture of Fig. 86 from the quoted text above.

    But the pdf downloaded from this link is not the full book. The necessary part is missing there (some pages)..

    Does anyone know where I can get the full version of the book Principles_of_Naval_Architecture_Vol_II, because I've no other choice the book in our library is also taken by somebody. ???
