Some cool beach trimarans from the 60's

    I'd not seen these photos in good resolution posted before so I thought I'd put them up. The photo of Victor T would not scan well unfortunately (book binding uneven) but shows some interesting detail I've not seen before. If anyone has some other pictures from the time or other boats to add feel free. These photos are from Richard Harris book "Racing and Cruising Trimarans". Jay Kantola and Joe Dobbler also designed some interesting off the beach racing tri's but I've not seen good photo's of them anyone have some?

    cool beach tri's

    You know, these boats are so inspirational! But when you really think about it
    almost no progress seems like it has been made in tris under 20' since those old days. I mean, whens the last time you saw an 18' tri flying the main hull blast by an F18?
    There is still loads of room for new exciting small trimaran designs and looking at what was done so well so long ago just fills the imagination-mine, at least!
