While Phil has given the name of the architect and Lurvio has told us that it's about the bridge I could tell as well that these are the three bridges* I've seen in Holland of which I thought "might be the same architect". So looked them up which gave the architect's name and the other bridges of his design, among which the "PM" / "WB" in our harbour . . . ;)

    * page is only in Dutch, here's the translation, it's near the airport Schiphol.

I'm not permitted** in this round... so who's gonna give the answer to the place . . :p

** It's an old agreement on this thread (from before I joined) that the one who has provided the previous puzzle doesn't give the answer to the next one, so others can step in. Clues are allowed, and sometimes welcome , but not giveaways. Don't know if the agreement is still valid, but I think it's good thing to maintain it, what do you all think . . ? ?

    Cheers,
    Angel

    Right Phil [IMG]

The port / neighborhood is Puerto Madero in Buenos Aries, shown here by Lurvio with a view on the Puente de la Mujer (Women's Bridge), designed by Santiago Calatrava, in the middle of the picture.

Well I know the wrap artists and this project, like many I guess, so yes kinda easy . . ;)

I thought it was ridiculous when they did that to Biscayne Bay. I didn't know they did it again!

I'll try to do better next time. I was a bit disapointed that a couple google searches gave the answer right off- "pink islands", for instance.

I didn't realise this one was that easy to search because when ever I see something that big wrapped my first thought is Christo because every one of his projects gets a lot of publicity.

Like said in post #5674: ‘‘ New one tomorrow by me... or the first taker who likes to post one . . :) ’’

So you, like everyone else, can make a new one if you like. If so, please make it a hard one . . :D

As an aside note... at least four things are killing the original "Where is this?" game:
    1) The amount of content on the web to search from grows by the minute.
    2) Search engines to explore all this content are improving all the time.
    3) New tools like web maps with all kind of functions are developed and improved all the time.
    4) And last but not least, people are improving their skills to use these tools all the time.

So best do a test search for the most obvious things that can be seen in the pictures and get text out of them. Plus be very careful with the text you use. And no problem if there is an easy one, we just move on faster then . . :)

Also don't give a clue in the name you give to the uploaded pics because that gets in their URL which is visable.

    Good luck!
    Angel

All these statues are within about 200 metres of each other. But where?

We (Tiny & me) had a chat about that city on this thread once, it was not a quest then.

That started with "LR" (also known as "DL") above a shop . . ;)

Hmm.. yes, that image looks difficult but is precisely described on the web and therefore shows up to easy when the right clues are spotted, just tested it, should have done before . .

It had 2 downloads so far, I guess that was you and me, so just replaced the pic . .

See "PH" in the top right corner of that collage for the 4 pictured statues . . ;)

    Cheers,
    Angel
