Exactly Tad my money making profession in life,( not building boats you say :) is as a project manager/building consultant in the private residential field specializing in renovations. I am often hired part time when needed and i would estimate 25% of the time i turn down working with someone elses mess and rightly so for anyone that doesn't want to be tarred and feathered by the work of in competent others. However it is good to know that the door is open to new and struggling people in the field to consult with qualified engineers. Basically that was the point I was hoping to make regarding "Can anyone Design". Yes to a point but the resorses are out there to help if needed.---Geo

As for the first sentance, do you not agree? as for the second sentance you would need to read back for quite a few pages to understand my position, I shouldnt worry about it, Pericles will no doubt bring it up before long

No, but pretty darn close! We can hear the banjo music wafting down from Alabama we're so close.

"WARNING THREAD DIVERSION "Just love that whole deep south area. My good woman and I did a three month trip spending time in the Carolinas, then west to Nashville, Memphis, Little Rock and on down the Missip then east and south to Panama city along the Gulf to our regular hangouts in Daytona then south to Marathon in the Keys and back up the east coast. Did it in the maden voyage of the motorhome we built posted prev. on this thread. Tracking a possible distant cousin who was a Gen. in the Confederate army. Played a little guitar in Nashville( have to be honest here, played on the street with the panhandlers, had a great time).
