Oh, it'll be raining here every day soon enough. "Rainy season" is pretty interesting down here. It's 104 degrees (real temperature, with heat indexes even higher) with 80%-90% humidity. Then, every afternoon it rains and thunderstorms for a couple hours. Also, my shop floods out when this happens.

    Good times... good times.... :)

For about 3 minutes, then it gets hot again.

    thirst quencher

cb, a tablespoon of honey and a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar dissolved in a big glass of cold water. It always gives me a good bump when I need it in the middle of a hot afternoon.

I did find coconut water helped a lot last summer. It is the highest concentration of potassium you can get. Mixed it about 75%/25% with water (75% regular water).

This time, I think I am going to do things right in order to stay on schedule. Either personal cooling systems or air conditioning. I can't mess around. I need this boat ready to launch (with incomplete interior) by next July.

Here's a picture of something that landed on my window. This isn't a close up! ha ha ha

KM by matol for potassium,it,s got me though many a summer bringing buildings out of the hole. And maybe put part of the galley forward, walk down the stairs to fridge, the sink, stove foward, big pantry between daggerboard case and hull faceing stateroom. my vote ,rick

Yeah, but look at coconut water. More potassium (660mg), a little sodium and a lot of water in it as you drink it too. Perfect hydration.

I'll concede bananas taste WAY better though! :)

LOL. I like the advice given. Potasium and Magnesium. You get rehydration powders you can mix in the drink.

Your body can lose moisture faster than it can absorb it. (small design error)

Work at night when it's cooler, sleep when it's hot.

Fox reported today that a beer hydrates you better than a glass of water after a workout.Think of what a six pac will do.

Who needs a six pack when a keg will do?

That grasshopper was about as thick around as a damn marshmallow. I guess I could have skewered him and roasted him over an open fire. Or better yet... just stuck the stick in the ground and waited for a nice FL day to work its magic.:p

If they come any bigger, I don't want to know about it! :)

There are wars inside my shop all the time between all of these things, which number in the hundreds, if not thousands. There are literally hundreds of the spiders on my mold, in every nook of the shop, etc... They are all battling it out all the time:
