Beautiful job! Seems very historically proper and well-researched. You are a master modeler sir.

You generated 2 threads of discussion about same topic. I just thought putting them together would be more efficient. No offense.

I believe the intention may be to start the two separate junk threads on two similar but different models. Is that correct?

Sorry! You're right, I'll consult your suggestion!

I had the idea as“ #8 ”said, because although is chinese junk, but they belong to different boat. As “carrack” and “galleon”.
Chinese junk has three types and hundreds of ship type. I was thinking is to show you the different boat. Everybody feel? Is separate facilitate everybody, still concentrated one?
In addition, "chinese junk" junk is our in 2006 limited data recovery according to try, "chinese foochow junk" junk is real, is the picture below

Please post any pictures you can of lovely traditional types like the Foochow. Close up pics of rigging details are very useful for people who use the Chinese lug rig on more modern boats like this one.

The family of Chinese ship types known as junk are well appreciated for their hardiness and aesthetic appeal. Is "chi" the right word?
