HI guys Just a few word to introduce myself i live in Paris in an old Tjalk build in 1904 (dutch or holland boat) and i own a formula junior Thunderbird made in 1966 in US.

My friends and i like this boat and is 145 volvo penta motor because it's nice to ski with it. she's nearly in perfect condition except the front window (sorry i don't know the exact word to say it in france we call it : pare brise ) which is missing.

I'd like to complete this nice boat by a "new" one do you know where i could find it ?

i ve read that this boat won a price in Paris in 66 there are only a very few of them in France and maybe it could be mine i think the boat was called BARRACUDA 5....

thx for your help and if you come over do not hésitate to visit me - it's forbidden to use a wakeboard in Paris with the formula junior but it's so gooooood !

May be youd'like to see it so : http://formula-jr-t-bird.weebly.com/

    salut les potes !

    1966 Formula Jr. for sale

This is my first post. Can anyone give me and idea of what a 66 Formula Jr. is worth. It belonged to my brother who recently passed away. It is in good condition. It has a 302 Ford motor with 351 heads. Will clip at 70 mph if needed. You can contact me at phyllisdlee717@yahoo.com with any information.

Hello I just purchaced this boat ,but i'm confused. The title says its manufactured by Plaster Fab,The hull # is CY6603C.It does'nt say anything about what model it is.It has a ford 302,with a 175 omc stearndrive. It has a small window in the windshield that opens , but not a walk thru. Can you shed any light on what I have.

1966 formula jr with interceptor 289 and eaton

Just happened to run across this post and thought I would add my 2-cents. I have a 1966 blue hull, white top with blue stripe and black interior formula jr. It has reverse rotation 289/302 with interceptor through hull exhaust and an eaton outdrive. I have owned it for 20yrs but the outdrive had issues when I first bought it and I repaired it once with some very hard to find parts for the extinct eaton out drive. The next time it broke I was a poor college kid and parked it in the field. I have always wanted to restore it since it is such a rare and cool boat. I just pulled it up to the shop and am deciding what to do. I believe I will find a doner boat with a ford/mercruiser or cobra set up to install this winter and get on with the restoration. looking forward to having it in the water next spring with any luck, zac alpena mi

Hi, I found this thread while looking for info on the Thunderbird Formula Jr. We have a Formula Jr and are interested in selling it for restoration. We have the trailer and the original windhsield with it. If anyone's interested I do have photos of it that I can post.
