    Great addition Gunship.

Reminds me of a lecture when the speaker talked about the antics of police departments using river boats, airboats and hovercraft. Seems like they all like to break things no mater what the craft is.

We started with 5 inches, but mostly it's compacted to ice. Temperature is 21.9 degrees F and the wind is blowing 38 MPH. With the windchill it's 3 deg F.

I'm sure it's worse elsewhere, but we're usually pretty temperate here and so this REALLY SUCKS. The Vancouver BC radio is calling for tomorrow to be the coldest day in 25 years.

    I disapprove!

Here's the nearly real time weather for Bellingham...

    http://www.bellcold.com/bhambaycam.html

The cam is of course useless, but the conditions are current.

The forecast is: "Clearing, cooler and windy". How much freaking "cooler" can it get!?!

Last year when it got this cold they closed the doors at Bellingham Cold Storage because it was warmer in the deep freeze than it was outside. Ended up sending 6 people to the hospital with CO poisoning!

    WAIT A MINUTE!!

Is it really 64 in Ontario?

While stationed in North Dakota I got a ride in one of those ice boats, one of the most fun rides I ever had. The 30 MPH wind and -10F may have had something to do with it.
