    This boat: the flag looks like USA, but the boat itself is remarkably similar to the swedish navy's Stridsbåt 90. any info on the boat?

    For anyone interested, the "screens" all over that monitor are to detonate incoming RPG rounds before they hit the actual structure of the boat.

    If you follow the links provided I think somebody in the thread says the craft are currently under evaluation by the US Navy. They might try to make them here (I think I read) but as I understand the Jones Act the government exempts it's self.

    Better post something then...

    I figured the already mentioned Combat Boat 90 would do for a pic. Here one was about to perform a crash-stop, but for some reason it ran up on the shore. No one was harmed, and the boat is made to perform such manoeuvres as well. :D
