Pot pot powaaa

    Well yah .... just bare with me ... :D pot pot boats !! Hit a snag in my boat building so im diverting my energy into small toy boats ...

    I was thinking, if i redesign it so the intake is at the front (with a check valve for inflow) and output from the rear (same but check valve for outflow), build it out of plywood and epoxy (fit a receiver and servos for remote control navigation.) how much power can i get from the small boiler ?
    Just need to figure out the weight and the engine size for my ultimate RC boat ....

    Yah ... thats one way of describing it ..... just dont know how much power these engines can deliver and what would the nozzle size need to be as well !

    Didn't know about pop pop boats when I was a kid; the internet hadn't been invented yet.:(

    So I had to settle for baking powder submarines; my mother sent off a quarter and a cereal boxtop for one.

    Let's see; they started selling them in 1954. Since I was born in 1949 and got my first one when I was 5 years old, it looks like I had one of the originals....

    add: Angel, I don't think a pop pop boat has one inlet and one outlet. If I understand them correctly, each side acts as an inlet and as an outlet. The alternating action is why they pop pop....
