For the type, displacement and spec list you gave the price is extremely good.

This is something that can interrest a lot of people searching for an alternative of what they see advertised in glossy magasine, meaning researching for a real all weather vessel at an affordable price.
And not flimsy plastic, real steel.

    Well done.

    Sounds expensive BUT.....

    New plastic Nordhavn 76 = $4,500,000 USD

    2.030,000 Eur @ current exchange rates = $2,700,000 USD

    Yepp,

    it sounds expensive.

But to be fair, one must say, the NH 76 has accommodation for the National Hockey League, that costs! (every day again)
The North Sea Trawler just sleeps six, seats six, and drinks 12 (Liter).
Then, I doubt, the Chinese governement pays for the massive ad´s, more often the customer finds it on the bill. (well he doesn´t find it, unfortunately)

    Ja, expensive...............:D

Apex, your retail cost for the boat is very realistic, the one I was building was going to cost me almost that much...and it was made in China.....

It could not be done in Turkey or Poland at this price and quality at present. Being a Dutch built I call it a bargain.
But the reason why I can do it so cheap does not exist for long.

Prospective buyers should not wait, this offer does not live long.

...that is sooooo true...it is just the circumstances of the economy now that people can do this, it keeps the yard open and pays the bill, that is all....it would certainly be a serious bargain for anyone with the spare cash.....and it would only appreciate in value as there is no way in normal trading times that you can repeat this deal mate.

There are several reasons more John.

One is, the market offers a wide range of surplus or new old stock at present. That makes it possible to install equipment worth north of 300.000$ as standard, when 50.000 would be common.
It does not harm to install a 5year old Kobelt engine control lever which was just sitting on the shelve. But it hurts to buy exactly the same item at 5 times the cost, or replace by a cheap Morse.

But we have already lost some items! (the offer was 8 days old when I posted the spec.s)
    I edited the post.

The Navnet system will be the next item to get lost, I guess. Replacing it is about 50.000$ additional cost.

But that is a open market, conditions can change daily until agreements are closed.

    Richard

You can only edit that post for 7 days. So better add a disclaimer that things can be changed without prior notice. You can refer to post #281 and #283 to explain.

What are you doing to marketing this boat?

    Good Luck!

Thanks, you are right about the disclaimer.
