below a small rare pic a found of incat's wig, articel said results with config were good but testing stopped
i sort of like the delta pointing fwd and started thinking of a stealth type design
not for its low radar profile but think it looks better, have a seat and perhaps it can be folded up easely
inflatable wings is an idea as well, and with a little good ideas help we share the honors in eternity ;)

    Yipster,

I don't have too much pictures to show you... there is only 3 pwc companies on the market and most of their jet skies suck. :) The only few models I like personally, which apparently come only in one color is from bombardier... example below...

Then only thing that sucks in most jetski is their price. They keep going up and up. My first jetski was like $3000 new. What is the cheapest unit now.

That is exactly what I meant. For 1/3 of their original price those jet skies would be much better... but they are selling a piece of fiberglass with an iPod and an engine for like $16000. :D

My understanding was that you wanted to do the same thing, an overpriced single purpose, uncomfortable water bike with more bling. If you can get ride of a couple of those then may be you have something.

I never said anything about those skies being uncomfortable... As a matter of fact all the new jet skies that are huge are very comfortable to ride on. Ofcourse our company will have to make it same single purpose watercraft with lots of bling. The main difference between us and our competitors will be a much more affordable price and a better warranty, hopefully reliability as well as better fuel efficiency with similar performance.

Time to comment on your bragging claims again.

So, you are challenging Bombardier, Yamaha and the rest of the market right from the start on all fronts?
And being as clever as you are, you tell them on a internet forum that you draw such plans.

Do you have a idea what a service net is? One should provide that to make childish statements like "better warranty" become at least feasible. Did you establish that already, or will you service the craft in your bedroom workshop?

I mean, you are still just "hoping" for reliability and performance, therefore you should be prepared to have some warranty claims in the beginning.

Obviously you do not have even the technical basis of such craft, because if you would have, you must not guess about reliability for example. But you have massive amounts of money in the background. I would recommend to bring them to the front first!

Be aware that the mentioned companies don´t need more than pennies to get your trap shut. And they will, being publicly challenged.
Imagine they buy ten craft and distribute them over the world, then claim service!
You´re out of business before you can say Oops..

sorry guy's, late reply but was having a good time flying paper planes ;-P
must agree with Apex words, think only a new concept -f.e. like samba's electric pwc- may have a -little- chance

same time i get this yamaha VXR in
    [IMG] [IMG]
"Yamaha tells us that the mission of the VXR it to provide the best possible high performance watercraft in a no-frills low-cost package.
With this in mind, we set out to test and review the VXR. The first thing we noticed was that the production weight of this watercraft was only 728 lbs.
and that the 1812cc four-stroke, four cylinder marine engine was NOT supercharged.
What's more the dash and handle bars were not decorated like a Christmas tree with lots of things to look at and fiddle with."

source: http://www.boattest.com/boats/boat_video.aspx?ID=2324 you may have to sign in but planty pwc's tested and discussed

this yamaha VXR comes at about 11k and is exactly onto that good deal your talking about, not sure if these pwc's still do acrobats like nose pirouettes
but guess those bulky hulls are well reasearched. above yamaha VXR has no adjustable steering anymore, where putting the mirrors on bar would take
constant adjustment and mirrors now together with console might be on the handlebar but watch angle will be constant and purpose gone

offcourse it depends on a beholders eye and angle to like the pwç's styling yet i agree thy are not very stylish, more like big pigs, oops did i say that?
than again and as said, much of their shape probably comes forth from testing and devellopment
posted your briefing below on the 2 seater (similar to 3 seater) and rereading it again i belive its more of a cosmetic job your looking for.
better than in 3d it might be good plugging a drawing pad in and use photoshop to stylise the topside, seen some guy's ( here too ) doing fine jobs that way

    ===========================design info 2 seater======================
This information is for a 2 seat model concept design. Two model extensions will be available in this model: GT and GT-R.
Primary differences will be performance in engines, different hood and seat designs.
Keep in mind that you are designing only how the watercraft will look from outside. Your design must focus solely on the outside aspect of the watercraft.

    Design Measurements (GT/GT-R):

    Length: 120" to 125" / 304 cm to 318 cm
    Width: 47" to 50" / 119 cm to 127 cm
    Height: 44" to 47" / 111 cm to 119
    Rider capacity: 2

    Design Requirements GT/GT-R model:

    - Must have modern, futuristic feel to the design with less curves and more straight lines. A good example is a 2010 Sea Doo RXT/RXT-X (main competitor)
    - Must have mirrors
    - Must have front storage and good access to the engine compartment under the seat.
    - Easy access fuel cap , must be located in front end of the watercraft, might be beside the hood or hidden under the hood.
    - Must have classic analogue information gauges with digital display/displays (two large dials with speed and tachometer plus digital information display).
3D gauge design for this component is preferred.
-GT-R model gauges must be a little fancier then the GT model with body colored analogue gauges.
    - Must have swim platform and swim step at the back.
    - Regular watercraft propulsion system (jet)
    - The only difference between GT and GT-R model must be the hood and the seat. GT model hood and seat must be more simple then GT-R. GT-R must have a sportier hood and seat.
    - Must have tow hook on the front and on the back (see BRP sea-doo designs for information)
Update: It is a good idea to make an adjustable steering column that moves up and down along with the instrument cluster.
That way it is going to be comfortable for the rider to be in a stand up position as well as in seating position.
