    Good Point Frosty...

    Hello...

Frosty makes a good point - everything has an inherent cost - particularily freedom - I have found...

You have to stay sharp - keep busy - keep working or you end up a gypsy floating around in a half done boat smoking and drinking to much...

Or you end up in a yard on jackstands with a boat that will never see water again...

Wash and shave every day - clean and dry laundry and bilges - take good care of your motors and sails and batteries - always be ready to cast off and go...

This is all new to me but exciting and difficult - but damned well worth not being mortgaged for the rest of my life to a woman who shares no interest in boats or boating...

    Thanks Frosty...

Cast off and see the world, There are many places worthy of a visit and some warrant a longer inspection... and your second string is your good artistic eye and a capacity to put your vision on paper/canvas...

At least sign and date it... That is saleable, (about 18" square?), ~ $200 to $400 unmounted/unframed... Get a "name" and a few successful exhibitions and treble that...

    Agent - Cell Phones...

    Hello....

Masi - I will cut you 15 percent - need an agent...

Also need a PA who can tell me that taking my cell phone out for a row in the dinghy is not a good idea...:)

The thing is pooched - it is funny how we take things for granted and lose our basic animal smarts - electricity and water - take a moment...:)

Oh well - I will upload some of my camp NAFI - (No Ambition and F'ck All Interest) - videos for shits and giggles - YouTube - most likely - when I get that much figured out...

My good friend Ray - (owns a DONZI Sweet 16) - and I - dropped a mooring and beach lines near an abandoned shack near Silver Falls in Indian Arm...

Damn - it will take me some time to post all - still fiddling with my GPS and new video camera...

Good times though - will share soon...

    Thanks again everyone...

    Masi...

    Hello...

I have been building and sailing boats - and 'doodling' boats too I suppose - since I was 6 years old - was always poor - single parent messed up family and the like - common **** - my first boat was discarded 45 gallon drums tied to 2x4's with cable from one of those clothes line thingies - lots of junk found in the valley across the rail lines and over the fence behind my Grandfathers trailer home - oh **** - this is my story - sorry all...

I spent a lot of time with my Grandfather due to family problems - hell it was he who got me hooked on the drink - whiskey and ginger ale - probably because it would put me to sleep in front of his TV and would make his kid sitting duties easier - he taught me to play chess and we would stay up all night sometimes - whiskey and my grandfather and chess - he died last year and I now have his board and his 'key box' on 'Laughing Duck' - my Volvo ignition and locker keys are in same by the main hatch...

When my stepfather - no Caps - bought a new band saw with a tilting bed - I went nuts building pond sailors...

I also got a call from my estranged Fathers' sister last year - my Aunt Brenda to tell me that my Father died of complications due to his diabetes - he built killer 1/4 milers - later on commission as he could no longer drive - they took his clutch leg...

Wait - there is more - oh yeah - I got divorced too - kept working - the stress of many yachts and commercial vessels that I was responsible for...

I thought that this **** is supposed to be spread over time - not happen all at once - perhaps this is why I like war documentaries...

Today I need to figure out why my Blue Ray codec is F'cked in the registry...

Heed my advice - when you get your boat splashed - make a 'list of minimums' - minimum cleaning products - minimum spares - minimum fuels - minimum appliances - minimum tools - minimum clothing - minimum food stores - everything including your favourite pencil needs a place and a sea lock - everything...

    I LOVE THIS...

I row my dinghy almost every day around the islands looking for landings - carve a good NAFI and number into the beach - time for some camping gear...

Time to get sappy - I really appreciate the people here who supported me through the above - and I also want to give a flying F'ck - and a stinky fart to all the self righteous assess who wanted to tell me how to live...

    Thanks folks...

I am back and have no intention of repenting my sins...

Time to go look at Masis' boat...

    Old Friends...

    Hello...

Just got through deleting all the photos and such of that cougar from college - I am sure you would have all liked me to post photos of same - if I find any lingering - I will...

It took a bit to get her working again - seems that a ****** is like any other thing - don't run it up once and awhile and it seizes...

Bleed it out and give it some oil...:)

Now that is crass - but I don't give a rats *** - I know I am going to Hell - might as well build a resume...

Women in AA - who drink decaffinated tea - just do not work for me...

But I got laid - got it out of my system - no pun intended...

Happy to be back and I do not intend to be nice about it - but I will...

Life is good - things are good - pet Swan named Frank - cat named Morris - house and boat named Laughing Duck - dinghy named Duckling - obvious - overflights from the GVR airport - love that sound - wake up to Eagles fishing in the Fraser River...

    Thanks again folks...

Bugger - cannot upload photos as my CP Email is past and void - as are many things - new Email is sherron0330@gmail.com ...
