    Home-built submarine

    This fellow eventually added a big steel dorsal fin(for lights) and a 200+hp outboard. It had bow planes, so I assume the plan was to drive the bow below the surface while moving forward. Unfortunately, it had so much drag, mostly all it did was create huge wakes, and entertain bystanders.
