Most subjects have been exhausted, for instance you would look a bit silly opening a thread about antifoul or pirates, climate change, or the financial complications of cruising---geeeeez.

Hey we could open one about--errr-errr gime a minute.

Fan,--launching is not or ever can be funny. I hate it.

Some one elses launching is fun but never your own.

Well apart from the usual 5 gallons of bottom paint, just the usual ****.

Props off, replace anodes on the drive tubes, clean up and polish props 24 inch 4 blade cleavers.

Mainly though I intend to make permanent the mods I have done to the rudders over the years and cut back just a tad more to see if I can get a bigger rooster tail and generally make them look professional and clean so anti foul is more effective.

    She will haul here http://www.pss-satun.com/wherearewe.html

Im a cat so its 10,000 baht 33 to the dollar so that 330 us dollar,--in and out.

Plus 500 baht per day--14 dollar. They don't take you off the car, you stay on it.

They own the ships supply in town too so anything you want is delivered immediately. They also have a small shop in the corner, sand paper, 6 inch galvanised nails or caulking cotton and other 100 year old boat building stuff. Even cold beer.

Motorcycles with side cars troll the yard selling food like chicken legs to Thai stuff you would'nt be able to eat.

Its apparently 24 hour yard now, which suits me as Im an early riser when working.

Thing is all the distractions, from work such as all the different boats hauling out and launching I cant get my work done, plus that cold beer in the corner.

You should click onto the photo gallery and see "cariad " the 100 year old gentlemans boat.

I was parked next to that 2.5 years ago and unfortunately they were grinding a lot of steel. After the morning dew my boat turned pink rust color.

What can I do --its a ship yard.
