i wanted to do this public.
i had ordered study plans from "Northwest marine" nearly 4 months ago, but i couldn't get the plans. afterwards i sent several emails to them. they answered one of them and told me that they have got the money and would send the plans. But never did. they haven't got any telephone number, they have only an addrress in "New Mexico, USA". If there is a member of this forum nearby their address i will be very glad if they check their address.
this is their link, they seems to be a big company and envivo yachts are built based on these plans. i didn't understand why they did sometihing like that. but anyway i was cheated!!

    their adress:
    Northwest Marine Design
    1836 Coyote Ridge Drive
    Las Cruces, New Mexico 88011
    USA

    What I know is:
They do not have a phone number, they do not answer e-mail, (they have an other one that the Ulas had)
I wrote to the better business bureau of New Mexico, they told me they do not know this company.
Ulas gave me the proof he paid for the study plans.
I know one of these boat was built in Croatia, I realy don't know what is going on with these peoples.
But I know that Ulas was cheated.
I am continuing to investigate and will see what will happens.
    Cheers

    Hi Daniel my Friend!

    I smell a rat here.

When you look at the boat, do you see what I see?
When you go to the website and read the text, do you hear the voice that I hear?

    ATKIN ..!!!

Easy, to pay for one set of plans, draw (or copy) a modern rig on it, tell the people to make the planking

6mm less thick, and to apply some veneer and glass! Voila! A modern boat! And 100 plans sold makes

some nice pocket money. Even better when you do´nt deliver.

Careful mates!!! The first one who copies this idea has to pay me a royalty fee of 20000 American

    Dolores per plan sold!

Of course the bucket will sail, maybe perform not much worse than the original.
But how do we call that?

    Regards
    Richard
btw. we met again today, Ulas and me, I thought I might learn something from a young NA.

hahh, typed too long. Hi Ulas!

Las Cruces is a small town close to the Mexican border. It has a truck stop, a couple of bars and a Dairy Queen. Everyone knows everyone. Get the sheriff's phone and ask for the info.

Northewest Marine seems an odd name for a company located in New Mexico, but there’s another address that appears to be the same people in New Jersey given in this link:- http://aerospace.kellysearch.com/profile/www.nwmarinedesign.com/us/nj/northvale/07647/901315074

Duckworks lists their designs at http://www.duckworksmagazine.com/r/plansindex/daysailers.htm and an e-mail to Mike at that site may get some action as he has undertaken to follow up bad links at least.

This link shows the street view for the New Mexico address and it looks like the location has a For Sale sign http://maps.google.ca/maps?hl=en&q=1836 Coyote Ridge Drive&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&tab=wl

It doesn’t look good. I can’t remember if the NJ and NM emails are the same, you could check and try the new one. If you can track down the real estate people that might lead you to a real address.

A Yahoo search turned up several references to Tony Gondola’s name in connection with astronomy but he appears to be an optician. An enquiry to the Astronomical Society of Las Cruces (he’s a member) might turn up a connection -I suspect it might be the same guy.

Ulas: I hope some of the above is of help to you.

Richard, I am so glad you went to met Ulas. This is very nice of you. He surely needed help to don't feel loonely on his quest for some justice.
For sure this company is a bunch of low life, and I feel bad Ulas had to deal with them.
Richard you descrive the right scenario. Perhaps they even didn't pay for one set, just copied from an article or what not.
Say hello to Ulas for all of us, and tell him the US boat business people are not all like that.
    Cheers and thanks
    Daniel
